July Kit is Up: Bumbershoot Parade

I'm so excited to reveal the July kit, that I'm releasing it a bit early!

bum·ber·shoot - n. An umbrella. [Alteration of umbrella + alteration of (para)chute.] Also an AWESOME Seattle music festival.

parade - n. A large public procession, usually including a marching band and often of a festive nature, held in honor of an anniversary, person, event, etc.

When you put them together, you get awesome.

July's kit is a perfect mix of the joys of sunshine and rain. A celebration of rainbows, pink lemonade, fireflies, and other summer joys.



The kit features patterned papers from the Wellies and Brellas Collection by Autumn Leaves, the Sparrow Collection by Glitz Designs, the Ants Go Marching Collection by Piggy Tales, and the Lillian Collection by Crate Paper. The kit also has some fantastic embellishments to inspire your creativity: an awesome 6x6 transparency with glittery birdies from Prima, journaling blocks from American Crafts, super cute glittery alphas, adorable ribbons from Autumn Leaves, teal lace, and a floral vintage fabric square straight from my grandmothers stash.

The vintage papers include pages from comic books, childrens books, card games, etc.

On to some personal stuff...

Everything is going great with the baby! I am really getting excited about becoming a mother. It's becoming more real too as yesterday I got my very first completely random guy asking me when I'm due. Hurray for no longer looking like I'm getting fat and officially moving over to the preggo look! :)

We have picked out a name, but are keeping it secret for now. We bought the paint for the baby's room yesterday: a very playful vibrant green color reminiscent of kelly green. This room will be seriously cool. Think gnomes and mushrooms and woodland creatures. I will start a new blog in the near future to share the secrets that will be in this room...
